Eating alone is perfect for one busy day. If you are trying to squeeze your time, better eat alone than eat with someone and talk to them. You can also use the time for reading a book or an article online. They say that doing alone is more productive than with a company.
Being alone is not sad
If you enjoy your own company, it means that you are giving time to yourself and actually take care of it. It is sometimes very tiring emotionally with other people, and this gives time to reflect on yourself.
