I know you have some questions in mind, so let’s answer them one by one.
Why can’t I download it on Google Play Store if it should be available on June 6, 2020?
The Riot Games announced that the LoL: Wild Rift will be on June 6, however, some of you still couldn’t download it in the play store. Because it is “Wild Rift Regional Android Alpha,” which means that Wild Rift will be available to a limited group of players in Brazil and the Philippines on Android phones, the test will begin in a small group of players. The feedback from these players will be valuable to Riot Games to improve the platform.

Why do they need to test?
They want to ensure that LoL: Wild Rift’s core gameplay. Riot Games would like to test the waters before launching it in full blast. Also, they simply want to give genuine Leauge experience like the LoL PC. They also make sure about the infrastructure and service stability and that we can all play with high quality.
How will I know if I get an invite?
First, you have to “Pre-register” in the Google Play Store. Once you get an invite in the LoL: Wild Rift Regional Alpha Test, you will get a notification saying that you can download the game. And, you’re one lucky guy if that’s the case. The invites will run from Jun 6-27, 2020. And on June 6-8, servers will only be available from 6 pm – 10 pm each day as they confirm the game’s stability.
What if I did not get the invite?
As Riot Game says in their post, they still love you. They would even want to show what LoL: Wild Rift is in for you. Watch the video to see how it works.
They are making sure that everything is all good, and they also said they would launch LoL: Wild Rift this 2020, so do not feel sad.
What are the minimum device specs?
I believe that they have temporarily raised the minimum device spec for this test since they are testing a few things, mostly unrelated to performance. However, the developer of LoL: Wild Rift said that they want it to be accessible without compromising LoL: Wild Rift gameplay. How promising, right? Also, the Alpha test is only for Android, for the meantime. It’s just a test, so there will be iOs for sure in the future.
Quoted from the official website wildrift.leagueoflegends.com, the minimum specs required for League of Legends Wild Rift is equivalent to Samsung Galaxy A7: Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 306 GPU, and at least 1 GB RAM.
Lastly, why only in Brazil and the Philippines?
Simply because they love churrasco and ADOBO, they also know that the people in these countries are such good players when it comes to mobile games. I bet the players in these countries will undoubtedly give great feedback that will help the game improvements.
