From the word “Nagpatong” it means to put on top. it is layers of 2 limestones facing each other. It’s an adventure from easy to hard level but it’s definitely worth it. It is in Tanay and certainly one of the places to visit in Rizal.

Palo Alto Falls
Located in Baras, it is inside the vicinity of Palo Alto Leisure and Residential Estates at Barangay Pinugay, developed by Sta. Lucia Land Inc. You need to climb the 249 concrete steps and while doing that you’ll feel the nature because of tall trees around and when you reach the foot of the falls and see many cottages.
One of the destinations you go to in Tanay is the Batlag Falls. It’s all about falls, which is 30-40 meters wide. You’ll just need some walking and you’ll reach 2 basins. It has majestic falls that is also great for shooting TV series and movies.
Who told you that you can only find the windmill in Ilocos? Actually, you do not need to travel that far, we have it here in Pililla, Rizal. Very nice to take pictures, but highly advisable to go there late in the afternoon because it’s very hot during noontime.
