Baguio City is known as the “City of Pines”. It is a highland city that’s why it gives cool weather even if it’s summertime in the Philipines. Pulag has the highest peak in Luzon and 3rd of the highest mountains in the Philippines. So, if you’re in for some action then, this one could be awesome, just do not forget that it’s cold there and you have to be a boy/girl scout ( Pack light and what is right). Sightseeing in Mines View Park
It is an overlooking park on the northeastern outskirts of Baguio. As I can remember, this is the place where you can shop till you drop. There are so many souvenir shops. In this place, we should not forget that it is an overlooking and for this reason, you’ll see the breathtaking view of abandoned gold mines and nearby mountains.
Separate yourself to the city in Botanical Garden

One thing to do in Baguio is to unwind in this garden. It was renamed as Centennial Graden but most of still know it as Botanical Garden. If you’re such a lover of nature then this could be excellent, you can have snacks in some gazebo or while you are enjoying your strawberry “taho”. Walking through lush gardens and lots of pine trees, this place is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Visiting Wright Park is on the list of things to do in Baguio. This place is scenic and also relaxing, unlike other parks, Wright park is not so crowded. Wright Park is also called Ride Park, if you love horseback riding or you just want to try then, this is the exact place for you. Near Wright park is The Mansion, it is built in 1908 and was the official summer residence of US governors-General during the American term. Now, this mansion is the official summer palace of the President of the Philippines. Though you cannot really go around the whole mansion, you can take some pictures in The Mansion House Museum.

Baguio is also known for it’s “Ukay-Ukay”.Your haggling skills will be needed if you want to take home more, it’s open from From 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM, at Harrison Road at the northeast of Burnham Park. You’ll love it!
Strawberry Picking in La Trinidad

Things to do in Baguio will always include picking fresh strawberries. Your Baguio trip will never be complete without this. The strawberry farm is located in the nearby town of La Trinidad in Benguet. In this place, you’ll just not see strawberries, but you’ll see plenty of flowers and a variety of vegetables. It’s actually like a Strawberry place because they are making other food out of fresh strawberries, for example, strawberry Taho, Wine and Ice cream.
Baguio city has so many things to offer and you’ll really enjoy it, it will not be called as the “Summer Capital” for no reason.
